<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">SRINAGAR: The Hurriyat Conference has expressed its willingness to accept the Centre''s offer for talks as both the people and the general council members of the Hurriyat have agreed to accept the offer, its chairman Maulvi Abbas Ansari said.<br /><br />Earlier Hurriyat (A) had sought time to respond to the centre''s talk offer for seeking people''s mandate and to know the view of members of general council of the conglomerate.<br /><br />Talking to <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">The Times of India</span>, Maulvi Abbas Ansari, said that the conglomerate would wait for a formal invitation from the Centre and he is hopeful to receive the same soon.<br /><br />When asked about the earlier Hurriyat stand of seeking people''s mandate as regards the acceptance of the talks offer, Maulvi Abbas said the talk offer would be accepted and people have been motivated for the same.

<br /><br />Adding he said the General Council members of the Hurriyat Conference have also agreed to hold reciprocal talks with Centre.<br /><br />He said the Centre is going to underline the agenda of talks along with the formal invitation letter. Ansari said the Hurriyat would also communicate its agenda of talks to the centre in return. <br /><br />He said, "We should not get cowed down or discouraged by deputy prime minister''s recent statement and should prepare for talks."</div> </div>
